Appointment System for American Citizen Services

Welcome to the appointment page for the American Citizen Services Unit!  In order to provide more effective customer service, we ask that you make an appointment before your visit.  Our system allows you to plan your visit in advance, ensures shorter wait times, and allows more efficient handling of individual cases.

Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 1:30 – 3:00 pm, except on official North Macedonia and U.S. holidays. You may request several services for the same visit to the Consular Section.  So, we may better serve you, please make a separate appointment for each individual service.

The scheduled appointment will be automatically cancelled for anyone arriving more than one hour late. You will be required to schedule a new appointment via our website or by phone.

Please select from the links below to choose a service, date and time that is convenient for you.  Note that only available appointment slots will be displayed.  Be sure to print the confirmation page and bring the page with you to your appointment.  There is no charge for making or canceling an appointment.  You may cancel your appointment by selecting the link below. If you must cancel, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours prior to the start of your scheduled appointment.

At the time of the passport appointment, please make sure you bring:

  • Completed and printed DS-11 or DS-82 form via the Online Application Wizard. Please print out the form on 2 separate pages (NOT double-sided) and bring the completed form at the time of your appointment! Hand filled application is not permissible! 
    Please DO NOT SIGN the form until instructed by the Consular Officer to do so.

    WHEN YOU PRINT THE FORM PLEASE CHOOSE – FIT TO PRINT OPTION – BARCODE MUST BE FULLY INCLUDED. Do not print the instruction pages!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: When completing the passport form, please make sure that your current local address in North Macedonia (even a temporary one) is listed as the mailing address (in paragraph 8).  Listing a U.S. address as the mailing address is not permissible!

  • Please make sure you bring clear copies of the biographical page of all passports that need to be presented and (if required), copies of additional documents, such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree….
  • One recent passport photo (5 x 5 cm or 2 x 2″ size) without eyeglasses.
  • The proper fee may be paid in cash in U.S. dollars or with a credit card. Payment in Euros or with a check are not

The ACS Unit will NOT be able to answer questions about visas. Public inquiries about non-immigrant and immigrant visas can be made to the Visa Unit by e-mail: consularskopje@state.gov at all times.
