All offices are closed on Saturday, Sunday, and American and North Macedonia Holidays.
Embassy operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, but some Sections and Agencies within the Embassy may differ.

Complete visa information, MRV (visa fee) payment and appointment scheduling are available via three methods:

Inquiries regarding particular cases currently being processed by the Embassy may be directed to the Embassy by emailing the Consular Section or by telephoning the Embassy at +389 2 310-2000.
Emergencies involving U.S. citizens can be reported by telephone to the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy at +389 (2) 310-2000. This number is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Outside of normal business hours, please request to speak with the Duty Officer to report a genuine emergency involving U.S. citizens.
American citizens may file applications for passports or consular reports of birth abroad, or request other routine consular services, at the Embassy during the U.S. Citizen Services Unit’s regular hours.
Press Office
The Press Office handles relations between the Embassy and all media in North Macedonia and abroad and coordinates inquiries, interviews, and other media events for mission officers.
