The Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Macedonia is an all-volunteer group composed of youth from different disciplines, interests, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds. The Youth Council seeks to generate creative ideas and projects to empower young people and to strengthen the voice of youth by advising the Embassy on important youth issues.

To inspire leadership among youth by empowering them to affect meaningful change in their communities.
For successful representation of the youth interest in Republic of Macedonia, the Youth Council commits to fulfill the following objectives:to foster youth participation in policy creation and decision making processes;
- to encourage innovative and creative approaches towards overcoming challenges that youth face;
- to recognize diversity and promote youth contributions in society; and
- to raise awareness of the importance of youth inclusion in all spheres within society.
The Youth Council works beyond the barriers of politics, religion, culture, race and ethnicity, and with organizations and individuals that share common values and objectives.
The Youth Council of Macedonia is a national representative within the global network of Youth Councils established by the U.S. Department of State.
