Dedication Ceremony of U.S. Funded Project: New Building for the Public school for rehabilitation of children and youth with visual impairments

On Thursday, October 15, U.S. Ambassador Jess Baily will join the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, the Minister of Education and Science, Abdilakjim Ademi, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Spiro Ristovski, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Dime Spasov and the Mayor of Kisela Voda Municipality, Biljana Belichanec – Aleksic, at a ceremony to mark the completion of the project:  New Building for the Public school for rehabilitation of children and youth with visual impairments Dimitar Vlahov in Skopje.  The U.S. European Command funded the project, valued at $363,000, to provide a new building that consists of six classrooms and one teacher’s conference room. This new facility was built with very high standards of quality and safety and according to the latest guidelines and standards for visually impaired students. This project will greatly improve the quality of education care for one of the most vulnerable group of children in Macedonia.
